End of Year, Cleanse and Release in the presence of the Cold moon

December 30th will see the unfolding of this months full moon.
Most commonly known as the Cold moon since it is the month where the winters chill begins to fill the air, then continues to remain present for the coming months ahead.
A time to breathe in the air of the crisp winters mornings, filling your lungs with life and gratitude
Inspiring purity and light, a medicine for the soul.
This months moon falls in Cancer and will bring some intense realising energy following a year of transition and uncertainty.
We opened 2020 with a full moon in cancer and are now also closing the year in this same way. The difference is that the energy is feeling slightly softer and of a more deep and sensitive manner, thus opening up the opportunity for self reflection and emotional release.
This moon will stir up the deepest emotions, in the most intense way to enable them to come crashing down and allow us to free ourselves from negative blockages and stagnate energy that may have been holding us back in 2020.
Even though this sounds intense and somewhat scary, this realise will leave you feeling lighter and empowered, propelling you forward for a fresh start full of positive energy and success for 2021.
She was gracefully dancing in the waves, embracing the crash to the shore, knowing with it comes the release of toxic energy and blockages that have been holding her back.
She becomes free with a grateful heart and ready to receive with love, infinite blessings and opportunities for the new year.
Important Rituals to prepare for this months Cold Moon
Cleanse and protect your Aura
You should be in a positive head space for the next steps
You can take sage or incense and use to cleanse your full Aura from head to toe.
Operate at a positive energy frequency
If you are finding it difficult to shift in to a positive state, gratitude is one of the quickest ways to make this shift.
Writing down 5-10 things that you are truly grateful for and really feeling the positive emotion will immediately lift your mood and align you with a greater frequency.

Cleanse, release and declutter your Living space with Fung Shui
-Declutter
Throw away any objects in your home that on engagement with they inflict some kind of negative emotion. It may be items of clothing that remind you of a negative time in your life. Realise this negativity and give thanks for its purpose at the time.
-Clean, tidy and hoover your space
-Fix anything that is broken
-Cleanse further with the use of sound
This should normally be done with the windows open so that stuck energy can move and flow through your space. Particularly focus on corners of your home where energy often gets stuck and stagnant.
The best way to do this is to go around the home and clap your hands to move energy around the space (ensure you wash your hands after clapping to remove any negativity)

-Cleanse with incense or sage
After the clapping and incense it is recommended to use a softer more harmonious sound. These sounds fill the space with positive energy. You can try Balinese Bells or Singing Bowls
You can also imagine your space being filled with pure white light of the full moon to bring a positive and harmonious state to the home This gives a safe space for energy work, release and manifestation.
-Give gratitude for your home
Meditation or Shadow Work
Whilst Shadow work is something I would normally recommend to do in the darkness of the
new moon. I feel since this Cold moon comes with such an intense release of emotion, preforming shadow work at this time may be beneficial to ensure that the release also comes from an unconscious level making the fresh start of the new year its' purist.

Feel all the emotions that come up and really feel them to their fullest. For negative emotions send love, gratitude and forgiveness so that the emotion can come to light and be released.
If you prefer you can do a mediation instead of shadow work, do what feels comfortable for you at this time

Since it is the end of the year now is normally a good time to reflect on the year, do not be harsh on yourself and be grateful for even the smallest of successes in such a tense year.
We often measure our successes on concrete things we have achieved.
However spiritual advancements, giving, love, gratitude and kindness are just as significant.
After performing meditation, shadow work and the candle ritual you may want to re visit your space with sage and bells to keep the energy pure.
Self Care
Due to the intense watery emotion that this full moon energy manifests, it is a much needed a time for Self kindness and love. All this realising can be very intense and so self care and love is very important when working through these emotions
-Take a bath, wash away any negativity.
-Surround yourself with loving energy
-Rose petals/flowers
-Rose quartz crystals
-Himalayan salts in the bath
-Essential oils and candles
You are now ready to start the new year in a balanced aligned state, releasing all that no longer serves you.
You are ready to set new intentions on the New moon in January and will carry forward positivity and love for 2021.
